   2018 City Golf National Champions

The City Golf Championship Tour was established by DCI Golf, a division of DeSilva Communications,Inc., to provide Cities across the United States, with a signature sporting event that enables each City to promote their committment to sports and recreation, while raising funds for key City Services, Parks & Recreation or City sponsored Charities and Youth Programs that enrich the lives of its citizens and local communities.

The City Golf Championship Tour is comprised of participating private or semi-private golf courses within the City, as well as Cities that own and operate a Municipal Golf Course(s) and either currently hold an annual City Amateur Championship or plan to hold same, and are interested in joining the City Golf Championship Tour Program. Champions and Flight Winners in each of these participating events, will be invited to register and compete in the two-day City Golf National Championship, to be held in Orlando, Florida.

The Format and Tournament Rules for each individual City Championship across the county may vary, as these events are run exclusive by each participating private/semi-private Golf Course or Municipal golf course. DCI Golf/DeSilva Communications, Inc. does not take any responsibility for the organization or outcome of these individual City Championship events, unless the event is produced by DCI Golf.

Each participating Golf Course on the City Golf Championship Tour will conduct a one or two day golf tournament to determine gross winners who will qualify to enter the National City Golf Championship in the following applicable categories:

• Male Professional Division: 18+: 6,500 to 7,000 yards
• Male Amateur Champion 18+: 0 - 2.9 - 6,400 to 6,800 yards
• Male 18+ A Flight: 3 - 5.9 - 6,000 to 6,400 yards
• Male 18+ B Flight: 6 - 8.9 - 6,000 to 6,400 yards

• Male Senior B Flight 55+ - 8 - 11.9 - 6,000 to 6,200 yards

Gross Winners in these City Championship events, who qualify by Flight to enter the City Golf National Championship, are eligible to register for the National event, pay for their own travel and expenses and conform to the Format, Policies, Rules & Regulations of the National Championship.

However, flight winners in these tournaments, wishing to enter the National Championship, must adhere to the Policies & Procedures, Rules & Regulations of City Golf National Championship. Depending on each City Golf Championship and the host golf course, Practice Rounds will be available one week in advance of the Tournament. All players who register by the Deadline will receive a Practice Round Voucher at a Discounted Rate. Each player must call the Pro Shop, schedule a tee-time and pay for their Practice Round. Players must present their Practice Round Voucher when making payment in order to receive the discounted rate. Practice Rounds will be scheduled by the golf course based on course availability.

At most City Golf Championship tournaments there will be an OPTIONAL Gross $kins Game, Closest-to-the-Pin $kin and Lowest In-Flight Score $kin. These games/contests will be conducted simultaneously with the tournament competition for those players who choose to participate.

Gross Skins Game: A skin will be awarded to the player who has the lowest score below par on a hole when compared to scores from all others players that entered the skins contest. Any ties will result in no skin being awarded on that hole. The total number of skins awarded for all 36 holes will then be divided into the net collected funds to determine the dollar prize of each skin.

Closest-to-the-Pin: A $kin will be awarded to the player who has the recorded Closest-to-the-Pin on every Par 3 hole. The collected funds will be divided by the number of "Closies" to determine the dollar prize for each skin.

Low In-Flight Net Score: A $kin will be awarded to the player who has the lowest Net Score within his flight.
