ABOUT THE CITY GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR
The City Golf Championship Tour was established by DCI Golf, a division of DeSilva Communications,Inc., to provide Cities across the United States, with a signature sporting event that enables each City to promote their committment to sports and recreation, while raising funds for key City Services, Parks & Recreation or City sponsored Charities and Youth Programs that enrich the lives of its citizens and local communities.
GOLF COURSES:
The City Golf Championship Tour is comprised of participating private or semi-private golf courses within the City, as well as Cities that own and operate a Municipal Golf Course(s) and either currently hold an annual City Amateur Championship or plan to hold same, and are interested in joining the City Golf Championship Tour Program. Champions and Flight Winners in each of these participating events, will be invited to register and compete in the two-day City Golf National Championship, to be held in Orlando, Florida.
FORMAT:
The Format and Tournament Rules for each individual City Championship across the county may vary, as these events are run exclusive by each participating private/semi-private Golf Course or Municipal golf course. DCI Golf/DeSilva Communications, Inc. does not take any responsibility for the organization or outcome of these individual City Championship events, unless the event is produced by DCI Golf.
Each participating Golf Course on the City Golf Championship Tour will conduct a one or two day golf tournament to determine gross winners who will qualify to enter the National City Golf Championship in the following applicable categories:
